I was inspected by Ofsted at the end of February, it was my first inspection. It was a huge relief to get a ‘good,’ and your website has been invaluable to me. Both my mentor and the inspector liked your learning stories that I use. Whenever I’m talking to someone about childminding or what is involved with the job, I name your website and pass it on, I’m hoping it won’t be long until someone replies ‘I know the childminding cafe, or I use that website.’Thanks again, Jo

I was inspected on Friday and was told that my paperwork was some of the best she had ever seen. In particular the inspector liked the “starting points”,”observation, assessment & planning record” and “personal plan” forms. She said they were very clear and easy to read and the way they fed into my weekly planner was very effective. This is all thanks to you as I downloaded everything from here. Thank you so much! I was really relieved to find your web site and have found it extremely helpful so far. Yours is the first site that seems to be for helping the childminder achieve more by providing the tools rather than just throwing a few ideas out there. Your paperwork and the corresponding information booklets are brilliant. Well what can I say, “What an amazing site” I have looked over in the past couple of weeks and was impressed, then I wanted to know if the paperwork came in Word to be able to type into, Amanda you were straight back to me via e mail. I joined last night but was out, I have been on the website all evening and amazed with it all. It’s just perfect and a great help to me as a childminder. I have done this job now for 20 years and what huge changes.

Hi Amanda I’m new to childminding,and your site is a God send, I have the over all feeling of being out of my depth,but after looking around last night, it’s becoming clearer, so thank you. I like the way the information is written and then examples given . The other sites I use are NCMA, which just panics me, and the childminding forum that is quite helpful with ideas and tips, but your site will always be my 1st stop now. Many thanks Bridget

I’ve enjoyed reading all the updates, especially the new changes in the EYFS, use of mobile phones and photographs and the the Q+A section which has reminded me to open a business bank account!!.
I have my inspection on Monday so I’ve already printed out a lot of your info to show I’m on the ball with all recent proposed changes!!!
This is such a brilliant site and I’m so glad to be one of your first members.
