Changes to Ofsted Early Years Inspections
The Early Years Handbook
From September 2015, there is a new Early Years Handbook that describes the main activities Ofsted inspectors should undertake when they conduct early years inspections. It replaces previous documents ‘Conducting early years inspections’ and ‘Evaluation schedule for inspections of early years provision’. The Handbook fits into a new common Ofsted inspection framework, a framework that aligns inspections across all of Ofsted’s educational remits.
