It is likely that many of you will have children in your setting that will be moving on to school in September and you may be thinking about how you can support the child to make the transition as seamless as possible. I hope these have given you some ideas, either if you have a child starting school in September or if you want to prepare for September 2016. As always, it is vital that you keep parents updated on your strategies and to ensure that they are happy with what you are doing to aid transition. They may have suggestions for other activities too and may want to be involved in every step.
